dylanbremner:

So I at the time, I never really enjoyed Final Fantasy XII. The game start off in a desert and I usually attested them in any previous game I had played before. It took me about a month or two to actually get into the game because of the starting environment. Regardless, I liked Ashe as a character so I decided to draw her.
Low and behold, I hadn’t realized how insanely detailed and challenging her attire would be to draw. Especially considering if any sort of perspective was incorporated, adding complication to shadows. I always decided to draw her face last which made things entirely more complicated, but I realized I needed to practice clothing and proportion before tackling something I always play with. Anyway I realize there are some issues but I’m pretty happy with the results.

My part of the art trade with Shaelyn (understandablydumb).
Oh god Final Fantasy designs are so complicated, I’m sure I made alot of mistakes in Ashe’s design, and I’m really sorry ;A;.
Also I’ve tried painting in Paint Tool SAI this time, so… a different result this time, I guess (Not really).

MY FAVOURITE VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS (in no particular order):

Ashelia B’nargin Dalmasca (Final Fantasy XII)

I am no false saint for you to use!”

livvyplaysfinalfantasy:

Though this is the first time Ashe voices her discontent for the idea of revenge, her tone of voice leaves no doubt that the last thing she wants is to cause more suffering. Nevertheless, there is a trace of indecision there. This is an emotional moment for not just her but the entire party as well.

This absolutely breaks my heart, because she’s a good person who wants to do the right thing, but she is so acutely aware that her strings are being pulled and that in itself terrifies her.

livvyplaysfinalfantasy:

From what the Occuria say, however, they were still able to control Ivalice even when the stones went unused. Regardless, Ashe now holds the motivation (and, more importantly, the courage) to take her kingdom’s fate into her own hands without the help of the Undying.

No, we cannot escape the past. What is your past, Daughter of Dalmasca? Did you not swear revenge? Do the dead not demand it?
